62 and nine months from this date under the following conditions the said Kuhn is to learn the boy the art of the Baking bissiness in all its branches and pay the boy three dollars a month for half of the time he is to serve and four dollars for the other half of his time and one dollar of the wages to be kept back in the hands of the said Kuhn from each month during the whole time his clothing to be paid for out of his wages the above agrement is the true and bona fide intention of the parties whereunto we have hereto set out hand on the day above writen Witness Major Lynch (seal) Ignatius Waters J. five dollars and twenty five cents lawful money of the united states in hand paid by Ellridge G. Kilbourn at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. Have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Ellridge G. Kilbourn his executors administrators and assigns the following described property to wit about twenty Barrels of corn in the ear one Bay mare blind two black Horses one small Wagon one cow six calves three two horse Ploughs three shovel Ploughs one cultivator Wagon Harness for four Horses and all the farming utensils now on the place of farm owned by said Kilbourn and occupied by the said grantors together with the Meat Hogs Poultry household and kitchen furniture thereon and and the undivided crop of wheat sowed by the said grantors and none growing.
