52 1854 and in consideration of the faithful services of the said Robert I do hereby give and grant unto him as far as it is in my power his freedom from all service to any one of my heirs or executors after the said first day of December 1854 and also from all service to my self. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal on this twenty first day of December in the year 1844 signed sealed & delivered in presence of Will.m Lee (seal) O. Horsey Benedict Boone Frederick County & State of maryland to wit. Be it remembered & it is hereby certified that on this twenty first day of December in the year 1844 before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in & for the county & state of maryland personally appeared William Lee the parte grantor in the within instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed Acknowledged before Benedict Boone Maryland Frederick County Sct I hereby certify that Benedict Boone Gentleman before whom the foregoing acknowledgment appears to have been made was at the time thereof a Justice of the peace of said state in and for said county duly commissioned and sworn.
