William Davis
 I John H Bradford of Harford
County in Consideration of the
Sum of one hundred and twenty
five dollars paid me by William
                          Davis a resident of Howard County do hereby bargain
                          and sell to the said William Davis my negro slave
                          Richard Taylor for the term of three years from the twenty
                          second day of June Eighteen hundred and Sixty
                          The said negro being a Slave for the term of three years
                          from said last mentioned date and no longer and the said
                          John H Bradford being entitled to said slave for the whole
                          of said Term.  Witness our hands and Seals this Seventh
                          day of August 1860

                                      I hereby Certify that on this Seventh day of August
                          Eighteen hundred and Sixty before the Subscriber a Justice

                          appeared John H Bradford and William Davis
                          and did each acknowledge the aforegoing Bill of
                          Sale to be their respective act and the Said William Davis
                          made Oath in due form of law that the Consideration
                          mentioned in Said Bill of Sale is true and bona
                          fide as therein Set forth

Isaac my negro woman named Harriett Hilton who will be of the the
age of twenty two years the 22d day of November 1860 a Slave for Life
