    And provided that nothing herein Contained shall
in any manner vitiate or interfere with the rights

to him from Said F S Key & E L Key executed July 5
1859 & recorded July 11th 1859 in Liber W W W No 20 folio 367
in Land Records of Howard County in the State of Maryland

    I hereby Certify that on this first day of August 1860
before me a Justice of the peace in and for the City of
& State aforesaid personally appeared Mrs E L Key &
Francis S Key & did each acknowledge the above instrument
to be their respective act and deed, And at the
same time also appeared before me John Glenn the
mortgagee in said mortgage named and made oath
that the consideration set forth in the said Mortgage
is true & bona fide as stated

to wit  Be it remembered that on
this second day of June in the
year one thousand eight hundred
fifty eight before me the Subscriber one of the Justices
of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for the
County afforsaid aforesaid personly appeard Bassel
Cavy Joseph Cavy and Cornelaus Cavy And acknowledged
them Selves each and Severally to owe and
stand Justly Indepted to the State of Maryland in
the sum of eighty dollars to be made and levied of
their boddys Goods and chattles lands and tenemants
Respectively for the use of the Said State upon condition
nevertheless that if the said Bassel Cavy shall Indemnify
the said County from all charges that may arise
from the maintanance of a female illegetimate child
by him begotten on the boddy of Amelia G Miller of
which she was delivered on the ninth day of March in
