by George Ellicott of Howard County and State of Maryland
do hereby bargain and sell to the said George Ellicott one
Bedstead one feather bed one chaf bed two feather pillars
4 sheets one Blanket 5 quilts one stove 13 yards of carpet
18 chears 3 Tables one trunk one cubboard one lott earthing
ware 1 set of dishes a lot of chickens  The Condition of the
above bill of sale is such that if John Cramblett do well
and truly make his personal appearance at the next Circuit
Court for Harrard County before the Judge thereof and
not depart thence without leave thereof then this Bill of
Sale is to be null and void otherwise to remain in full force

       I hereby Certify that on this 2nd day of June in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty
personally appeared Matilda Ann Gray before me the subscriber
a Justice of the peace for Howard County aforesaid
and acknowledged the foregoing bill of sale to be her act
and at the same time also appeared George Ellicott and
made oath in due form of law that the consideration in the
said bill of sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth

I Michael H Haller of Frederick
County in consideration of one
hundred and ninety seven dollars
paid by Gustavus Tucker a resident
                        of Howard County Maryland do hereby bargain and sell
                        to the said Gustavus Tucker a negro slave Luke belonging
                        to me the said Michael H Haller to serve untill the eleventh
                        day of January in the year eighteen hundred and
                        sixty five the said negro being a slave untill said
                        11th day of January in the year eighteen hundred and
                        sixty five and no longer and the said Michael H Haller
                        being entitled to the Whole of said term of services of said
                        slave as bill of Sale to said M H Haller by Executor of
                        Elizabeth Nelson decd   Witness our hands and seals this 9th day
