    I hereby Certify that on this twenty second day of May
in the year eighteen hundred and sixty before the subscriber
a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and
for Howard County aforesaid personally appeared Ann
Dickson and acknowledged the aforegoing deed or instrument
of writing to be her act

Bill of Sale to
George Ellicott
 I John Cramblett of Howard County
and State of Maryland in consideration
of twenty five cents paid me
by George Ellicott of Howard County
and State aforesaid do hereby bargain and sell to the
said George Ellicott one stove one bedstead ten chairs
two tables 4 brets of carpet 1 quilt 2 pilars one cotton materass
one looking glass a set of Dishes rocking chair the condition
of the above Bill of Sale is such that if the above
named John Cramblett do well and truly make his ^personal^ appearance
at the next Circuit Court for Howard County before
the Judge thereof and not depart thence without leave
thereof then this bill of sale is to be null and void otherwise
to remain in full force at Law
