two hundred and fifty four dollars lawful money to me in hand paid before the ensealing and delivery of these presents by James Gaither of Montgomery County of the Second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by these presents do grant and convey unto the said party of the second part his executors administrators and assigns one lot of corn groring suposed to be thirteen acres one lot of oats groing suposed to be ten acres one lot of wheat growing supposed to be six acres two bay horses one sow and four pigs five shoats one grain fane one two horse plow one harow one wagon two shovel ploughs one sepeckle cow to have and to hold the same unto the said party of the second part his executors ^administrators^ and assigns forever and I do for my self my heirs executors and administrators covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part do warant and defend to the sale of the said property above mentioned Soled unto the party of the second part his executors administrators and assigns against all and very person and persons whomsoever In Witness Whereof I have have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of June eighteen hundred and sixty Washington Gaither (Sl) State of Maryland Howard County to wit On this 5th day of June 1860 personally appeared Washington Gaithe and acknowledged the above Bil of sale to be his act and deed for the same purposes therein mentioned acknowledged before Samuel Nichols J. P. Received to be recorded on the 21st day of June 1860 at 2 oclk PM same day recorded and Examined per W W Watkins clk
years the freedom of the said Martha Ann Dickson to commence from the date of these presents and the freedom of the said John Wesley Dickson to commence from the twenty ninth |
