James A Albaugh of Carroll County in the said state at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt Whereof I the said William Dempsey do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said James A Albaugh his Executors administrators and assigns all the goods and chattels To wit Two thirds of the undivided Crop now growing on the farm whereon the said William Dempsey now Rezies Namely Corn Tobacco Oats and grass and potatoes and one pocket knife one red and white heiffer all and singular which said goods and chattels are not remaing standing and being in a certain messuage or tenement situate in Howard County and now in the Occupation of the said William Dempsey to Have and to hold all and Singular the said goods and other the premises above Bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said James A Albaugh his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said William Dempsey for myself my heirs Executors and administrators all and singular the said goods and chattels and other the premises unto the said James A Albaugh his executors Administrators and assigns against me the said William Dempsey my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods and Chattels and other the premises I the said William Dempsey have put the said James A Albaugh in full possession By delivering to him the said James A. Albaugh one pocket knife at the sealing and delivery of these presents in the name of the Whol premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto him the said James A Albaugh as aforesaid In Witness Whereof I hereunto subscribe my name William Dempsey (seal) State of Maryland Howard County to wit Be it Remembered that on this 11th day of June 1860 Before the Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland in and for the aforesaid County personally appeared William Dempsey and doth acknowledge the said Indenture or instrument of Writing to be his act and deed |
