I hereby certify that on this 28th day of May in the year
of our Lord Eighteen hundred and sixty personally appeared
before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in
& for Howard County John Holland party to the aforegoing
deed of Manumission and acknowledged the same to
be his act

I Robert E Dorsey of Howard
County in the State of Maryland
hereby manumit and set free my
negro slave Harriet Johnson now
wife of Christopher Williams aged about thirty years
daughter of Minty (being the same purchased by me
from Doctor Horace Waters) her freedom to commence
from the date of these presents; and I do also hereby
manumit and set free my negro slaves Charles Williams
aged about ten years Sophy Williams about nine years
of age and Christopher Williams aged about four years
and Horace Williams aged about two years all children
