Allen Dorsey
 Know all men by these presents that
Francis D Anderson of Howard County in
the State of Maryland in consideration of
the sum of Three hundred dollars and
                            twelve dollars and nineteen cents paid me by Allen Dorsey
                            of Baltimore City do hereby bargain and sell to the said
                            Allen Dorsey the following property viz: Twenty pairs
                            of bedsteads, 20 matrasses Four feather beds Four dozen
                            chairs Eight Tables Twelve wash stands, Eight looking Glasses
                            Bedding for twenty beds carpeting for four rooms a lot of
                            matting all the china and table ware in the Hotel at
                            Poplar Springs 4 stoves and fixtures one carrage, one horse
                            one half of crops growing upon said premises, 12 Hogs, Two cows
                            Bar fixtures and liquors.  Provided if the said F D Anderson shall
                            pay to the said Allen Dorsey within five years from the first day
                            of April 1859 the said sum of Three hundred and twelve dollars
                            and nineteen cents with Interest then this Bill of sale to be
                            void.   Witness my hand and seal this Eighteenth day of
                            November one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine

                            I hereby Certify that on the eighteenth day of November 1859 before
                            me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland
                            in and for Howard County personally appeared Francis D.
                            Anderson and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing
                            to be his act and deed
                            Taken and acknowledged before            Samuel F Simmons
                                                                                                Justice of the Peace
                            Received to be recorded on the 18th day of November 1859 at 5
                            Oclock P. M. same day Recorded & Examined per
