387 and Alfred C Hearn as Justices of the Peace aforesaid by virtue of the power and authority to them given in and by an act of the General Assembly passed at November Session in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety four. Entitled a supplement to the act entitled an act for the better regulation of Apprintices have placed and bound out and by these presents do place and bind out as an apprentice Margaret Togood who on the first day of April next will be of the age of seven years the daughter of Eliza Togood of the said County of Indigent circumstances with the consent and approbation of said Eliza Togood to learn the art trade and mystery of Housekeeping after the manner of an apprentice: the said Margaret Togood to dwell with and serve the John D Day from the date of these presents until the first day of April in the year of Eighteen hundred and seventy one when the said Margaret Togood shall attain to the age of eighteen years during all which time and term the said Margaret Togood shall the said John D Day well and faithfully serve in all such lawful business as the Margaret Togood shall be put unto by her said master according to the power and ability of her the said Margaret Togood and honestly and obediently in all things shall behave herself toward her said master and honestly and obediently towards the rest of the family of the said John D Day And the said John D Day on her part doth hereby promise and agree to teach and instruct the said apprintice or cause her to be taught and instructed in the art trade or calling of housekeeping by the best way or manner he can and shall well and faithfully find and provide for the said apprintice good and sufficient meat drink clothing lodging and other necessaries fit and convenient for such an apprentice during the term aforesaid and at the Expiration thereof shall give unto the said apprintice two suits of wearing apparal one suitable for sunday and the other for working days and eighteen dollars as her freedom dues In testimony the said John Ridgely of Jno Alfred C Hearn and John D.
