365 A Webb his heirs or assigns may without any hindrance or interuption by me seize, take, and sell, on such terms as he may deem right and proper all and every article of property herein before mentioned and apply the proceeds of such sale or sales to the payment of the aforesaid mortgaged debt or so much thereof as may be due at the time of such sales and the surplus if any shall be paid over to the said Arthur J. A Campbell his heirs or assigns. In witness whereof I hereto subscribe my name and affix my seal on this thirteenth day of June Eighteen hundred and fifty nine Attest A. J. A Campbell (seal) Reuben Warfield State of Maryland Howard County to Wit: I hereby certify that on this thirteenth day of June Eighteen hundred and fifty nine before me a Justice of the Peace for said county personally appeared Arthur J. A. Campbell and acknowledged the aforegoing bill of sale or mortgage to be his act and deed; and at the same time personally appeared William A Webb before me as aforesaid and made oath on the Holy Evangelly of Almighty God that the consideration mentioned in the said bill of sale or mortgage is true and bona fide as therein set forth Reuben Warfield Received to be recorded on the 28th day of June 1859 at 11 Oclock A. bargain and sell to the said John Orem the following property all my crop of wheat, rye, corn and oats now groing on the farm where I reside the said John Orem to have and to hold the said growing crop as above named and to use the same for his benefit. Witness my hand |
