faithfully in such capacity and in such labour and employment
as may be suit^ed^able to their strength and ability from the
date of these presents until they shall respectively attain the
age of twenty one years: during which time and term the said Edwd
A; William A and George B W shall the said David Burdett
his heirs or assigns well and faithfully serve in all lawful
business they may be put unto by their said master and shall
honestly and obediently in all things behave themselves towards
their said master and orderly towards the rest of the family of
the said David Burdett & his heirs or assigns.  And the said
David Burdett on his part doth hereby covenant promise and
agree that he his heirs or assigns shall well and faithfully
find and provide for the said apprentises and each of them
good and sufficient meat drink clothing lodging and
other necessaries fit and suitable for such apprentises
during the time and terms aforesaid and at the expiration
thereof shall attain the age of twenty one years a comfortable
suit of wearing apparrel and ten dollars in money
In testimony whereof the said Clarissa A Warner and David
Burdett have set their hands and seals on the day and year
first herein written                                            her

State of Maryland Howard County to Wit:  I hereby certify
that on this sixteenth day of May Eighteen hundred and
fifty nine before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the
State of Maryland in and for the County aforesaid personally
Clarissa A Warner and David Burdett and did each
acknowledge the aforegoing Indenture or instrument of
writing to be their respective act and deed according
to the true intent and meaning thereof and the acts
of assembly in such cases made and provided
