Howard County to Wit: Be it remembered and I hereby certify that in this thirtieth day of March Eighteen hundred and fifty nine before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of said state and county personally appeared James D Cooke and acknowledged the said instrument of writing or bill of sale to be his act and deed and at the same time and place also appeared before me Georgianna Williams wife of Benjamin Williams the grantee in the said Bill of sale named and made oath that the consideration set forth in the said bill of sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth W.m A. Albaugh the following property to wit all my right and interest in the entire crop of Tobacco being two fifths thereof now on the farm of William Turner; one red and white cow; one Calf; one lot of carpet, three bedsteads Beds and bedding; one Cook stove; nine chairs; two tables; one Bureau; and one mantle Clock all which are now in my possession; and I hereby covenant and agree to deliver to said James A Albaugh his heirs or assigns any and all of said goods and chattles whenever he shall demand the same.
