In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this this nineteenth day of February Eighteen hundred and thirty one Signed sealed and delivered in James Chambers (seal) the presence of us John Grey, Thomas Leasester Maryland Talbot County sc Be it remembered that on this nineteenth day of February Eighteen hundred and twenty one personally appeared James Chambers of Talbot County party to the within instrument of writing before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace of the state of Maryland for said County and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed for the purpose therein mentioned and the negro slave mentioned male and female and the issue of the female slaves mentioned and described in the said instrument of writing to be free, manumitted and discharged from service to him or any claiming under him from and after the several and respective dates periods and age therein assigned and prescribed according to the acts of assembly in such cases made and provided Acknowledged before Lewis Miller State of Maryland Talbot COunty to wit: I hereby certify that the aforegoing is truly taken a copy from Liber J L No T 43 folio 9 & 11 one of the record Books for Talbot County In testimony whereof I hereto set my hand (seal's place) and affix my official seal this 5.th day of February A.
