State of Maryland County of Howard To Wit
    I hereby certify that on this twenty third day of November
in the year Eighteen hundred and fifty eight before the Subscriber
a Justice of the peace of the said State in and for the
County aforesaid personally appeared Hezekiah Linthicum
and acknowledged the aforegoing Bill of Sale to be his act and
at the same time also appeared Charles G. Linthicum and made
Oath in due form of Law that the consideration in Said Bill
of Sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth

Know all men by these presents that
I Robert Richey of Howard County in
the state of Maryland of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of
                        four hundred dollars and twenty ^five^ dollars lawful money of
                        the United States to me in hand paid before the ensealing and
                        delivery of these presents by Margaret S Denkel alias by marriage
                        Margaret S Richey of the same place of the second part the
                        receipt hereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained
                        and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell
                        & convey unto the said Margaret S. Richey the second
                        party her Executors Administrators and assigns one white
                        and yellow cow, one one horse carriage, one coal stove
                        two cooking stoves with necessary operaters, Two large
                        looking glasses, six carpets, eight green chairs, eight
                        cane bottom chairs, set yellow chairs, Two Rocking
                        chairs, Three brown chairs, Five bedsteads and the
                        bedding, four tables, Two wash stands, wash bowl
                        and pitcher, one blue cupboard, one red chest, and
                        all the Queens ware & Glass ware one lounge, nine
                        framed pitchers pictures, all the Kitchen furniture
                        consisting of ceder, tin, Hollow & Iron ware; To clocks, two
                        old Bureaus, one writing desk, one green book case, two
                        copper kettles one water cooler, & all the her furniture
                        consisting of bottles, tumblers, deni johns & kegs also
                        one old piana.  To have and to hold the same unto the said
                        party of the second part her executors administrators and
                        assigns forever.  And I do for myself my heirs executors
                        and Administrators covenant and agree to and with
                        the said second party to warrant and defend the
                        said goods and chattels hereby sold unto the party of
