29 each of us our and each of our heirs executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this twenty first day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty four. Now the condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound E. A. Talbott shall well and faithfully execute his office as collector of the State taxes and shall well and truly account for and pay over to the Treasurer of the State of Maryland the several sums of money which he shall receive or be answerable at such times as the law directs then this obligation to be null and void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. of May 1854 two stray horses taken up by him with heed haulters on them one a dapple Iron grey with a wound on the left hind legg between the stifle and hock joint not more than six years old the eye resembling having had the hoocks cut out the other a cream colered man and apears to be stiff or foundered a blaze in the forehead and the wright hand foot white tail and mane white about 8 or 9 years old.
