28 to be unto him the said William F. King as aforesaid In testimony whereof I the said Gustavus Wheeler have set my hand and seal this eighth day of april Eighteen hundred and fifty four. Signed sealed and his delivered in the presence Gustavus x Wheeler (seal) of us John H. King Mark J W Worthington State of Maryland Howard County to wit: Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on the eighth day of april Eighteen hundred and fifty four before me the subscriber a justice of the peace in and for the said county personally appears Gustavus Wheeler he being known to me to be the person who is named and intended so to be and professing to be a party to the foregoing instrument and doth acknowledge the said instrument of writing to be his act and deed In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name the day and year aforementioned J G Worthington And at the same time and place appeared before me William F. King the said Grantee in the said bill of sale named and made oath that the consideration set forth in the said bill of sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth J. G.
