254 firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of ten thousand dollars current money to be paid to the said State or its certain attorney or assigns to which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves and each of us our and each of our heirs executors and administrators in the whole and for the whole jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this twelfth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven Now the Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden Littleton Maclin shall and well and truly account for and pay over to the Treasurer of Maryland the several sums of money which he shall receive or be answerable for at such times as the law directs then this obligation to be null and void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue Signed Sealed and delivered Littleton Maclin (seal) in the presence of W.m Welling (seal) Witness: W.
