233 and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Samuel England of Carroll County and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Nathan England do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Samuel England his executors administrators and assigns one Spring waggon used as a marked waggon and all the appertinances thereunto belonging and one bay Horse about 16 hands high 8 or 10 years old with black mane and tale which said waggon and horse are now remaing standing and bearing in a certain messuage or tenent situated in the County aforesaid and now in the ocupation of the said Nathan England To have to hold all and singular the said waggon and horse above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be the said Samuel England his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Nathan England for myself my heirs executors administrators all and singular the said waggon and horse and other the premises unto the said Samuel England his executors administrators and assigns against me the said Nathan England my executors administrators and assigns all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said Nathan England has put the said Samuel England in full possession by delivering to him the said Samuel England the above described waggon and horse at the sealing and delivering of these presents hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be unto him the said Samuel England as aforesaid. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 15.th day of April 1857 Witness Nathan England (seal) Ezra Davis Maryland Howard County to wit: On this 15.th day of April 1857 before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County and State aforesaid personally appeared Nathan England he being known to me to be the party or granter to the foregoing instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed Acknowledged before Sam.l F. Simmons J. P. Maryland Howard County to wit On this 15.th day of April 1857 before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County and State aforesaid personally appeared Samuel England he being known to me |
