wares and merchandize as may be contained therein (Subject
nevertheless and at all times to the provisions of a deed heretofore
made and executed by me to Messrs Woodward and Baldwin
about the first of April in the year aforesaid and of record in
Howard County Court)      To have and to hold the said goods
wares and Merchandize above mentioned & referred to unto the
Daniel Miller his heirs and assigns in trust to and for the
uses and purposes following that is to say in trust that the
said Miller shall after the satisfaction or fulfillment of
the provisions of the said deed or instrument of writing made
and executed to the said Woodward & Baldwin as aforesaid
have and hold such surplus goods wares and merchandize
in the possession of him the said Sykes or in the possession
of Messrs Woodward and Baldwin in trust to pay and
satisfy unto James C. Sellman & Son Merchants in the City
of Baltimore the sum of seven hundred dollars or thereabouts
which the said Sykes owes to them the said James C. Sellman
& Son for goods sold and delivered to him the said Sykes
And to pay and satisfy unto Grinnell Jenkins & Co
Merchants in the City of Baltimore the sum of three hundred
& thirty dollars or thereabouts for goods sold and delivered
by them to said Sykes.  And to pay and satisfy unto
Miller Ships & Company Merchants of said City the sum
of twelve hundred dollars or thereabouts for goods sold
and delivered by them to him the said Sykes with interest
on each claim and further in trust that if the said Sykes
does not pay the aforesaid claims before the payment and
satisfaction of those embraced in the said deed to Woodward
& Baldwin and the said Woodward & Baldwin should have
a surplus of goods in their possession after the payment
of the claims mentioned in the deed to them that then the
said Miller shall sell the said surplus goods wares
and merchandize and apply the proceeds of such sale to
the payment of the Claims herein specifically mentioned
with such interest as may be don thereon      In Witness
whereof the said James Sykes hath hereunto subscribed his
name and affixed his seal on the day and year firs ^herein^
