213 will warrant and forever defend by these presents In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of April eighteen hundred and fifty seven Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of James Sykes (seal) W.m A. Loder State of Maryland Howard County Sct. Be it remembered that on this third day of April 1857 before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace for said County appeared James Sykes and acknowledged the foregoing Instrument of writing to be his act and deed. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name on the day and year aforesaid W.m Loder J. P. State of Maryland Baltimore City Sct. On this fourth day of April 1857 before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for Baltimore City personally appeared Harriet Sykes and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration set forth in the foregoing Bill of Sale is true and bona fide as therein set fourth In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name on the above date herein written Saml M. Lamder State of Maryland Baltimore City Sct I hereby certify that Samuel M. Lamder Esquire before whom the annexed affidavit was made and who has thereto subscribed his name was at the time of so doing a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for the City of Baltimore duly commissioned and sworn (Seals) In testimony whereof I hereto set my hand (Place) and affix the seal of the Superior Court of Baltimore City this 4.th day of April A.
