Eighteen hundred and fifty seven personally appeared before the
subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the said State and County
Joshua Fisher and acknowledged the aforesaid Bill of
Sale to be his act      Acknowledged before

Richard Iglehart
   Bill of Sale
         to
Ann Iglehart
 I Richard Iglehart of Howard
County in the State of Maryland
in consideration of the sum of
fourteen hundred and nineteen
dollars paid me by Ann Iglehart
of the County and State aforesaid do hereby bargain and sell
to the said Ann Iglehart the following property to wit:  A
negro woman named Ann about eighteen years of age
a negro boy about three years of age; four horses one
yoke of oxen six head of Cattle, eighteen hogs, thirteen
Sheep, two Colts, and all my farming Utensils; All which
property and effects are now on the farm occupied by the
said Ann Iglehart and of which she is now in the actual
possession      And the said Richard Iglehart covenants
that he will warrant generally the property hereby conveyed
and he further covenants that he is possessed of and is
the legal owner of the property hereby conveyed that he
has a right to convey as aforesaid.   This paper is executed
to correct an omission in the acknowledgment of a bill of
sale made between the parties hereto on the 14.th day of
March 1856 wherein the affidavit of the grantee required
by the act 1846 Ch. 271 was accidentally omitted
    Witness my hand and seal this fourteenth day of February

          I hereby certify that on this fourteenth day of February
eighteen hundred and fifty seven before the subscriber a
Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for said
County personally appeared Richard Iglehart and acknowledged
the foregoing Bill of Sale to be his act and
now at the same time before me personally appeared
also the said Ann Iglehart the within named grantee
and made oath in due form of law that the consideration
