Hess (seal) W.m A Loder Howard County SS: Be it remembered that on this twenty third day of June 1857 before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace for Howard County appears George E. Hess and acknowledges the above instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof. And at the same time appeared before me John W. Spear one of the grantees in the said Bill of Sale named and made oath that the consideration set forth in said Bill of Sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth Acknowledged & sworn before me W.m A. Loder Received to be recorded on the 23.d day of June 1857 same day recorded & exam.d per W. H. Worthington Clk
under the age of 14 years Whereupon said W.m H. Edmonston came into Court and accepted said appointment and entered into and executed bond in the penal sum of Three thousand dollars with G. W. Edmonston and James M. Martin or his Securities who are approved conditioned as the law directs It is ordered by the Court that G. W. Edmonston be appointed Guardian and Curator for Emily G. Edmonston infant Orphan of Washington O. Edmonston deceased under the age of 14 years whereupon said G. W. Edmonston came into Court and accepted said appointment and entered into and executed bond in the penal sum of three thousand dollars with William H. Edmonston and James M. Martin as his securities who are approved conditioned as the Law directs State of Missouri, County of Callaway St |
