194 respectively for the use of the said State Uppon condition nevertheless that if the said John Holland shall indemnify the said County from all charges that may aris for the maintenance of a female illegitamate Child by him begttn on the body of Sarah E. paid by Spear and Cole of Baltimore City and State of Maryland aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged: have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Spear and Cole their executors administrators and assigns the following property to wit: Three Bedsteads, two feather beds, two straw beds and one mattress two pine Tables, one Cherry dining table, one mahogany dressing Bureau, Six Chairs, one Settee, two Rocking Chairs, twenty five yards straw matting, forty yards Ingrain Carpet, one clock two cooking stoves, one Safe, a lot of fixtures belonging to the above mentioned cooking stoves, two tin pans, two wooden and one tin parts, one washing tub, one cow, three setts of lead Harness, two setts single Harness (black mounted) eight horse Collars, four Carriage horse Collars, one sett double Carriage Harness (second hand) one sett of second hand single Harness, one pair second hand wagon breaching four double reined riding bridles, one single do, twelve riding whips a lot of leather, old harness and shop fixtures To Have and To Hold the said described property to the said Spear & Cole their executors administrators and assigns forever; and him the said George E. Hess for his heirs executors and administrators the said Spear and Cole unto the said Spear and Cole their executors and administrators and assigns against him the said George E Hess his executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever |
