appeared Alexander Duvaull Louis Duvaull and Resin Jones all of Howard County and State above and acknowledge themselves each and severally to owe and stand justly indebted to the State of Maryland in the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to be made and levied of their bodies goods and chattels lands and tenements respectively for the use of the said State Upon Condition nevertheless that if the said Alexander Duvaull shall indemnify the said County from all charges that may arise for the maintenance of a female Ilegitimate child by him begotten on the body of Louisa Duvaull of which she was delivered on the seventeenth day January 1854 the said Child being now two years old: And the complainant desired the the said defendant to be released from the two years that has expired and now claims only for the five years to come from this date then this recognance to be void and of none effect otherwise to be in full force and virtue in law taken and acknowledged before me Ignatius Waters J Peace Filed February 14th 1856 same day recorded & exam.d per W. H. Worthington Clk
appears John Holland and John Russel and acknowledged themselves thir heirs administrators or executors each and severally to owe and stand justly indebted to the State of Maryland in the sum of eighty dollars to be made and levied of their bodies goods and chattels lands and tenements |
