after payment of all monies then owing to said firm and to said
new firm as aforesaid under the provision of the Mortgage
including all expenses of sale then forthwith pay over the balance
to said James Sykes or to his legal representatives.  And the
said James Sykes hereby covenants with the parties hereto of the
second part Copartners as aforesaid that he will from time
to time whenever required so to do execute and in due form of
law deliver to the said parties of the second part all such
other and further deeds mortgages and transfers as shall or
may be required for the confirmation of these presents or for the
more fully conveying and assigning all future raw material
stock of goods manufactured and unmanufactured articles
which may from time to time during the continuance of this
mortgage be in or about the said Factories and each of them
       In witness whereof the said James Sykes hath hereunto
subscribed his name and affixed his seal on the day and year
first above written

    State of Maryland Howard County Sct:
             I hereby certify that on this tenth day of June in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six before me
a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland in and for Howard
County aforesaid personally appeared James Sykes the party of
the first part to the foregoing Deed of Mortgage or Instrument
of writing and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed
    Witness my name the day and year aforesaid
                                                       Thomas Jno Hood J. P.

       State of Maryland City of Baltimore Sct
             I hereby certify that on this thirteenth day of June A. D.
Eighteen hundred and fifty six before me a Justice of the peace
of the State of Maryland in and for the City of Baltimore aforesaid
personally appears William Woodward one of the Mortgagees
named in the foregoing Deed of Mortgage and made oath on the
Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration set
forth in said Mortgage is true and bona fide and therein set
forth.               Witness my name the day and year aforesaid

                   I hereby certify that William H. Hayward Esquire
before whom the annexed affidavit was made and who has thereto
subscribed his name was at the time of so doing a Justice of
