160 G. Shipley his hirs executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said James G. Hardy fer myself my hirs executors and administrators hold the said property unto the said Tolbott G. Shipley his executors administrators and assigns against me the said James G. Hardy my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents; In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of April one thousand eight hundred and fifty six signed sealed and delivered in the presence of J. G. Hardy (seal) Ignatius Waters Justice of the Peace S. S. Be it remembered that on this first day of April eighteen hundred and fifty six before the subscriber a justice of the peace for said county and state appears James G. Hardy and acknowledges the above or within instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and Meaning thereof and at the same time appeared before me Tolbott G. Shipley the grantee in said bill of sale named and made oath that the consideration set forth in the said Bill of sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth Ignatius Waters J. Peace Received to be recorded on the 4.th day of April 1856 same day recorded and examined per W. H. Worthington clk
