155 and secureing her the said Rebecca Elder for the money so advanced hath agreed to execute these presents Now This Indenture witnesseth that in consideration of the premises and of the sum of one dollar currant money to him the said John Elder in hand paid by the said John Orem at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said John Elder hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the said John Orem two black mares four head of horned cattle, one two horse Waggon, one woodcock plow three shovel plows and six head of hogs. To Have and To Hold the above described property unto the said John Orem in trust to and for the use intent and purpose that is to say in trust for the use of Rebecca Elder wife of the said John Elder without impeachment To Have and To Hold the same described property so as aforesaid bargained and sold to the said John Orem for the sole use and benefit of the said Rebecca Elder and her heirs and assigns and to and for her and their only proper use and benefit and I the said John Elder for myself my executors and administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents to the said John Orem for the use aforesaid the said described property against me my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever claiming the same or any part thereof In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal on the day and year aforesaid signed sealed and delivered in presence of John Elder (seal) John Ridgely (of Jno) |
