152 described as and professing to be the party grantor in the aforegoing Bill of sale or instrument of writing and acknowledges the said bill of sale or Instrument of writing to be his to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof Acknowledged before McLane Brown Received to be recorded on the 14.th day of March 1856 same day recorded and examined per W. of the said county and state of the other part; Whereas the said John W. Turner has this day confessed Judgment in supercedas before Reuben Warfield a Justice of the Peace upon a judgment rendered on the 23.d day of February 1856 against the said Levi and Julia A. Chambers in favor of Abram England for sixty eight dollars and sixty four cents with interest from the first day of January 1856 and one dollar fifty cents costs and to secure and indemnify the said John W. Turner from all loss and damage by reason of said judgment and liability as aforesaid the said Levi Chambers and Julia A. Chambers have granted to execute this instrument of writing. Now know all men by these presents that we the said Levi Chambers and Julia A. Chambers for and in consideration of the premises and also in the further sum of one dollar current money to us in hand paid by the said John W. Turner at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof we the said Levi and Julia A. Chambers |
