of Howard County aforesaid well and truly paid
(the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged) I
have granted bargained sold and delivered
and by these presents do grant bargain sell and
deliver to the said Louis Coryell Ward his heirs
and assigns all the following named goods
and chattels to wit one brown mare rising ten
years old, 2 brindle cows, 1 carriage & harness, 1
cart & Do, 1 lot of harness comprising 3 sets, 1
cider press, 1 corn sheller, 1 straw cutter, 1 hand
Mill s harrows 2 horse hoes, 1 cultivator 1 Plow
1 ox yoke & chain 1 churn, lot shovels forks &c  To
Have and To Hold the said above enumerated goods
& chattels unto the said Louis Coryell Ward his executors
administrators and assigns to his and their
own proper use and behoof forever.  In trust and
special confidence Nevertheless to and for the
sole and separate use of the said samuel Champion
and his heirs.  In testimony whereof I
hereunto set my hand and seal this second
day of February Anno Domini 1856
At the same appeared Louis Coryell and made oath that
consideration therein express  is bonafide and true
    sworn before McLane Brown

the within mentioned consideration

State of Maryland Howard County to wit
    Be it remembered that on this seventh day of
Feb.y 1856 before me subscriber a justice of the  
state of Maryland in and for said county personally
appeared samuel Clark Atkinson to me well
known as the person named in the within bill of
sale and acknowledged thee same to be his act and
Deed according to the true intent and meaning
thereof
                   Acknowledge   before      M.cLane Brown
Received to be recorded on the 8.th day of February
1856 same day recorded and examined
