The state of Maryland Howard county to wit:
Be it remembered that on this twenty
third day of september in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty four personally appeared
Wesley Linthicum and Thomas J. white
party grantors and releasers within
named Instrument of writing before
me the subscriber a Justice of the peace
of the said state in and for the county
aforesaid and acknowledges the within
release or Instrument of writing to be
their act and deed and the personal
property therein mentioned and thereby
bargained sold and released to be the
right and estate of the within named
William H. Worthington party
grantee and releasee also therein
Named his heirs and assigns forever
according to the purport true intent
and meaning of the said Instrument
of writing and the acts of assembly
in such cases made and provided
and I the subscriber further certify
that from my own knowledge the
said Wesley Linthicum and Thomas J.
White are the Identical persons who
are named and described as and
professing to be the party grantors
and releasers in said Instrument of
writing
Acknowledged and
certified by               Ignatius Waters J. Peace
several interlineations
and erasures previous
to acknowledgment
