County at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Andrew Jackson Duvall do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these present do grant bargain and sell unto the said Henry A. Penny his executors administrators and assigns two Hack Mares, two Hack horses, one large wagon and harness for four horses one milch cow, one carry all and harness all and singular which said goods and chattels are now remaining standing and being in Howard County and now in the occupation of the said Andrew Jackson Duvall To have and to hold all and singular said goods and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be to the said Henry A. Penny his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Andrew Jackson Duvall for myself my heirs executors and administrators all and singular the said goods and other the premises unto the said Henry A. Penny his executors administrators and assigns against me the said Andrew Jackson Duvall my executors and administrators and against all and every other person and persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods I the said Andrew Jackson Duvall have put the said Henry A. Penny one carry all at the sealing and delivery of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be unto him the said Henry A. Penny as aforesaid. In witness whereof I the said Andrew Jackson Duvall do hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this first day of February Eighteen hundred and fifty four Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence Andrew J. Duvall (seal) of John H Powell J G Worthington State of Maryland Howard County to wit: Be it remembered that on this first day of February Eighteen hundred and fifty four before the subscriber a justice of the peace in and for the said County personally appeared the said Andrew Jackson Duvall party to the above |
