printing press, Type Cases, furniture and materials in the office of the Cambridge Chroncle Newspaper
all and Singular which Said goods, Chattels and personal property are now remaining Standing and being
in a Certain Messuage or tenament situate in the town of Cambridge and now in the occupation of the
Said Richard M. Beall.  To Have and To Hold all and singular the Said half of Said printing ^press^, type
Cases, furniture and materials, and other the premises, above bargained and sold, or mentioned and intended
so to be, to the Said Richard M. Beall, his Executors administrators and assigns, forever.  And I, the
Said Charles F. Goldsborough, for myself, my heirs, Executors and administrators, all and singular the
Said half of Said printing press, type, Cases, furniture and materials, and other the premises, unto the
Said Richard M. Beall, his Executors, administrators and assigns against me the Said Charles F. Goldsborough
my Executors and administrators, and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever,
shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents   In witness whereof I the Said Charles F. Goldsborough
have hereunto Set my hand and Seal on this Second day of January in the year eighteen hundred and
fifty four

State of Maryland Dorchester County to wit:  Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that on this
Second day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty four before
the Subscriber, one of the Justices of the peace in and for the State and County aforesaid, personally appeared
Charles F. Goldsborough, party grantor in the within and aforegoing bill of Sale, and acknowledged the
Said bill of Sale or instrument of writing to be his act and deed.  And at the Same time and place also
appeared before me Richard M. Beall party grantee in the Said bill of Sale named and made Oath
that the Consideration set forth in the said bill of sale is true and bona fide as therein Set forth.  In testimony
whereof I hereunto Subscribe my name on the day and year aforesaid

this Bill of Sale

Richard M. Beall                  Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following Bill of Sale

Charles F. Goldsborough      Know all Men by these presents that I Charles F Goldsborough of
                                        Dorchester County in the State of Maryland, for and in Consideration of the
Sum of eight hundred dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Richard M. Beall of the County
and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the
Said Charles F. Goldsborough do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents
do grant, bargain and sell unto the Said Richard M. Beall, his Executors administrators and assigns, all the
goods chattels and personal property hereinafter particularly mentioned and expressed that is to say one half of the
printing press, type Cases, furniture and materials, in the office of the Cambridge Chronicle Newspaper all
and singular which said goods Chattels and personal property are now remaining standing or being in a Certain
messuage or tenement Situate in the town of Cambridge and now in the occupation of the said Richard M. Beall.  To
Have and To Hold, all and singular, the Said half of Said printing press, type Cases, furniture and materials
and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Richard M. Beall
his Executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Charles F. Goldsborough for myself, my heirs, Executors
and administrators all and singular the said half of said printing press, type Cases furniture and materials and
