State of Maryland Dorchester County To wit on this 26 day of December in the year 1853 before me the Subscriber one
of the Justices of the peace in and for the Said County & state aforesaid personally appeared William C. Huffington
party grantor and acknowledged the above bill of Sale or instrument of writing to be his act and deed
according to the true intent and meaning thereof         Acknowledged before

Thomas Woolford Senr      Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following Bill of Sale
       √      from          x.d    was received and recorded on the 2d day of January 1857 to wit:
Jethroe T. R. Woolford      Know all Men by these presents that I Jethroe T. R. Woolford of Dorchester
                                         County and State of Maryland for and in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred
and twenty dollars Current Money of Maryland to me in hand paid by Thomas Woolford senr of the County and
State aforesaid at and before the Sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted
Bargained and Sold and By these presents do grant bargain and Sell unto the said Thomas Woolford senr
his Executors administrators and assigns three yearlings one Cow one Steer one Cart five head of hogs one
plough and all the farming utensils upon the farm where the said Jethroe Woolford now lives and twelve bushels
wheat and two Beds and furniture Eight Chairs two Stands two tables one pot one oven tea kettle and two Buckets
twelve head Chickens three geese six ducks which property is now in my possession To have and To hold the Same
described property above bargained and Sold to the said Thomas Woolford Senr his Executors administrators and assigns
forever to his and their only proper use and benefit and I the said Jethroe T. R. Woolford for myself my Executors
and Administrators Shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents to the said Thomas Woolford
his Executors Administrators and assigns the Said described property against me my Executors and administrators
and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever Claiming the Same or any part thereof   In testimony
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this Second day of January Eighteen hundred and
fifty four

          State of Maryland dorchester County to wit on this Second day of January Eighteen hundred and fifty
four Before me one of the Justice of the peace in and for Said State and County appears Thomas Woolford and
made oath on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God that the above Bill of Sale is a true and bona fide Bill
of Sale and the Consideration therein mentioned is Just and true as Set forth on Said paper

Richard M. Beall                  Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following Bill of
    √      from   xd                  Sale was received and recorded on the 2d day of January 1852 to wit:
Charles F. Goldsborough         Know all men by these presents that I Charles F. Goldsborough of Dorchester
                                            County in the State of Maryland for and in Consideration of the Sum of Seven
hundred dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Richard M. Beall of the County and State aforesaid
at and before the Sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof I, the Said Charles F. Goldsborough
do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and Sold and by these presents do grant bargain
and Sell unto the Said Richard M. Beall, his Executors administrators and assigns all the goods chattels
and personal property hereinafter particularly mentioned and expressed, that is to Say one half of the
