45 sow and four pigs, one pair andirons, two pots one spider one oven & Lid one frying pan one walnut table one pine table and Lot of flax one plow one harrow 1 wood rack one Loom and gear, one pair sad irons one meal sifter one safe 1 crop of wheat seeded on the ground one Lot earthen ware 4 Jars and lard twelve dughill fowl and four Bbls of Corn all and singular which said goods and Chattels are now in my possession To Have and To Hold all and singular the said goods, household stuff and furniture and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Eben Stanley his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Major Molock for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators all and singular the said goods household stuff and furniture and other the premises unto the said Eben Stanley his executors administrators and assigns against me the said Major Molock my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 22nd day of March 1853 his Test Charles Corkran Major x Molock (seal) mark Maryland Dorchester County to wit Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that on this 22nd day of March 1853 (1853) before the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of Maryland in and for Dorchester County personally appears Major Molock and acknowledges the within instrument of writing to be his act and deed for the purposes therein named and also at the same time personally appeared Eben Stanley and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of almighty god that the sale of the articles named in the above instrument of writing was true and bona fide and that he paid the Consideration therein named for the same Sworn before & acknowledge before Charles Corkran J. P. John D. Parker Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the ^following^ Bill of Sale was received and recorded paid from xd on the 8th day of 1853 to wit Anthony Thompson Know all men by these presents that I Anthony C. Thompson of Caroline County in the State of Maryland for and in Consideration of the sum of Four hundred and Fifty Dollars to me in hand paid by John D. Parker of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland Have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said John D. Parker two negroes viz one negro boy Called George Brown aged about nine years in August 1852, whom I own for a term of years to serve him the said Parker until he shall arrive at the age of thirty years, that is to say for the term of twenty one years from the first day of January 1853 also One negro Girl Called Charlotte Brown aged about Seven years in august 1852 whom I own for a term of years to serve him the said Parker until she shall arrive at the age of thirty years that is to say for the term of twenty three years from the first day of January 1853 To Have and To Hold the said negroes above mentioned unto the said John D. Parker (the said George Brown for the term of twenty one years from the first day of January 1853 or until he is thirty years old and the said Charlotte Brown fort the term of twenty three years from the first day of January 1853 or until she is thirty years old) his heirs Executors administrators and Assigns against me the said Anthony C. Thompson my heirs Executors, and administrators and against all and every other person or persons Shall and will warrant and defend In witness whereof the said parties have hereunto set their hands and seals this Eighth day of April 1853 A.
