30 name of Stephen aged about Ten years to Serve until he arrives to the age of twenty one years and then to be free, one Horse and Carriage the Color of said said horse is bay To Have and To Hold all and singular the said personal property hereinbefore granted bargained and sold, or mentioned or intended so to be unto the said William O. Cooper and Robert W. Lewis their Executors, administrators and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said William O. Cooper and Robert W. Lewis their Executors administrators and assigns forever; provided always and these presents are upon his Condition, that if the said John Davis his executors administrators, shall and do well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the said William O. Cooper and Robert W. Lewis their executors administrators or assigns the full sum of Two thousand dollars Current money with legal interest for the same on or before the fifteenth day of December Eighteen Hundred and fifty four then and in such case these presents and every matter and thing therein contained shall cease determine and be utterly void, to all intents and purposes any thing herein Contained to the Contrary thereof in any wise notwithstanding. In Testimony whereof the said John Davis hath hereunto subscribe his name and affixed his seal the day and year first herein before written Signed sealed and delivered John Davis (seal) in the presence of Charles Corkran State of Maryland Dorchester County to wit: Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that on this Eighth day of December Eighteen hundred and fifty two before the Subscriber one of the State of Maryland's Justices of the peace in and for the County aforesaid personally appeared John Davis party Mortgagor named in the within and aforegoing Deed of Mortgage and acknowledged the Sum to be his act and deed and delivered the same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, according to the true intent and meaning of the same and the acts of Assembly in such cases made and provided And I also Certify that on the same day and year aforesaid before me the Subscriber a Justice of the peace as aforesaid personally appeared William O Cooper and Robert W. Lewis party mortgagees within named in the aforegoing mortgage and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the Consideration named in the within and aforegoing Mortgage Bill of sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth Acknowledged and Sworn before Charles Corkran John S. B. Woolford Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following Exd from Mortgage Bill of Sale was received and recorded on the 14th Thomas H. Abbott day of December 1852 to wit: This indenture made this 27th day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two between Thomas H. Abbott of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland of the one part and John S. B. Woolford of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland of the other part whereas the Said Thomas H. Abbott stands Justly indebted to the said John S. B. Woolford in the sum of one hundred and eighty four dollars and eighty four Cents Current money and to secure the payment thereof is willing to execute these presents Now this indenture witnesseth that the said Thomas H.
