29 two tables, two Carpets, one Cradle, two looking glasses, knives and forks, 1 lot of Spoons, and all the rest and residue of my household and kitchen furniture, also one lot of window blinds & fixtures one lot of Stool and Cain bottom Chairs one lot of rocking Chairs one lot of picture frames & pictures one lot of looking glasses, one lot of Canes or walking sticks, one paper a Book press, one lot of figured paper, and all the rest and residue of my merchandise and sock in trade in my store in Cambridge, Dorchester County To Have and To Hold the said above described property as above bargained and Sold unto the said Francis J. Henry his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, against me the said J. B. Regnier my heirs, executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever, Shall and will warrant and forever defend. In testimony whereof I J. B. Regnier have hereto set my hand and affixed my seal this forth day of December eighteen hundred and fifty two Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of J. B. Regnier (Seal) James Rea Maryland, Dorchester County to wit: On the forth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two personally appeared before me, a Justice of the peace in and for said County, the within named J. B. Regnier and acknowledged the within Bill of sale to be his act and deed, according to the purport, true intent and meaning of the same, and at the same time Came before me Francis J. Henry, party grantee within mentioned and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God, that the Consideration set forth in this bill of sale, is true and bona fide, as therein set forth, according to the act of Assembly made and provided Acknowledged & Sworn before James Rea 1852 December 4th Received of Francis J. Henry the sum of one dollar in lieu of a Stamp on this bill of sale Francis J. Henry Clk William I. Cooper & Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following ^Mortgage^ Robert W. Lewis Bill of Sale was received and recorded on the 8th day of December Exd from √ 1852 to wit John Davis This Indenture made this Eight day of December in the year Eighteen Hundred and fifty two, by and between John Davis of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland of the one part and William O. Cooper and Robert W. Lewis of the same County and State aforesaid, of the other part, whereas the said John Davis owes and stands Justly indebted to the said William O. Cooper and Robert W. Lewis in the sum of Two thousand Dollars Current money of Maryland, and to secure the payment thereof, is willing to execute these presents. Now this Indenture witnesseth, that the said John Davis for and in Consideration of the premises, and for and in Consideration of the sum of one dollar Current money, to him in hand paid by the said William O. Cooper and Robert W. Lewis at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof the said John Davis doth hereby Acknowledge, and thereof and therefrom doth acquit, release, exonerate and forever discharge the said William O. Cooper and Robert W. Lewis, their heirs, executors and administrators, and every of them by these presents, hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents, doth grant, bargain and sell, unto the said William O. Cooper and Robert W.
