159 Elizabeth A. Vincent of the County and State aforesaid of the other part. Whereas the said Thomas Sellers by his lease given for the rent of the farm on which he now resides and the performance of the covenants therein set forth duly executed bearing date on the third day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty stands bound unto the said Elizabeth A Vincent her executors administrators and assigns in the sum of Two hundred and sixty dollars current money with the condition for the payment of the sum of one hundred and thirty dollars current money (without interest provided if paid prior to the first day of January 1856) on or before the first day of October one thousand eight hundred and fifty five as by said lease and conditions may more fully appear. Now this indenture witnesseth that the said Thomas Sellers in consideration of the said debt or sum of one hundred and thirty dollars current money owing) to the said Elizabeth A. Vincent or assigns as aforesaid and for the better securing the payment thereof to the said Elizabeth A. Vincent her executors administrators or assigns according to the conditions of the said Lease and also in consideration of the further sum of one dollar current money to him the said Thomas Sellers by her the said Elizabeth A. Vincent in hand well and truly paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said Thomas Sellers hath hereby granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Elizabeth A. Vincent her executors administrators and assigns all and singular the Horse Cattle Hogs and Household furniture herein after particularly mentioned and expressed: that is to say one mare one large steer one yoke of young steers three cows Seventeen head of hogs two farm carts one single carriage Three ^beds^ bedsteads & furniture six chairs and all the balance of the Household and Kitchen furniture. To Have and To Hold all and singular the Horse cattle Hogs Farming utensils and Household furniture unto the said Elizabeth A. Vincent her executors administrators and assigns to her and their own use and behoof. Provided always and it is declared to be the true intent and meaning of these presents that if the said Thomas Sellers do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Elizabeth A. Vincent her executors administrators or assigns the full sum of one hundred and thirty dollars current money on or before the first day of October one thousand eight hundred and fifty five then in such case these presents and every matter and thing herein contained shall cease determine and be utterly void to all intents and purposes anything herein contained to the contrary notwithstanding; and the said Thomas Sellers for himself his heirs executors and administrators shall and will well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Elizabeth A. Vincent her executors administrators or assigns the sum of one hundred and thirty dollars current money together with interest for the same after the date aforesaid at the time and herein before set forth and agreed for the payment thereof In witness whereof the said parties have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written his Sealed and delivered in Thomas x Sellers (seal) presence of W.m D. Barrow mark Elizabeth A. Vincent (seal) And at the same time and place also appeared before me Elizabeth A. Vincent the grantee in the said bill of sale named and made Oath that the consideration set forth in the said bill of Sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth W.m D.
