the said will or in any contingency referred to therein and the said William Billips Exor or admr of sd
Peter Lecompte or any & all other persons having charge of the said Estate of the said Peter Lecompte real or
personal is hereby authorized and required to account with or pay over to the said James A. Stewart & his heirs,
Exors admrs or assigns all sums of money or interests accruing to me under & by virtue of the said last will &
testament      To Have and To Hold all of the said property, rights, demands & interests to the said James A.
Stewart & his heirs, Exors, admrs & assigns to his & their sole use forever.  In testimony whereof I have hereto set my
hand and seal this 19th day of October in the year Eighteen Hundred and Fifty Four

State of Maryland Dorchester county to wit:      On this 19th day of October in the year 1854 personally
appeared before me the subscriber a justice of the peace for the said state & county William W. Cook
party grantor in the foregoing instrument of writing & known to me to be such and acknowledged the same to
be his act and deed and at the same time appears James A. Stewart party grantee therein mentioned
and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration mentioned therein is bona
fide just & true to the best of his knowledge & belief

Ezekiel T Fleming      Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that the following Bill of Sale was received
Paid      From  xd      and recorded on the 18th day of November 1854 to wit:
Samuel G. Collins         Know all men by these presents that I Samuel G Collins of Dorchester County in
                                the State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand Dollars current
money of Maryland to me in hand paid by Ezekiel T. Fleming of the same county & state aforesaid at and
before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Samuel G. Collins do hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained & sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Ezekiel
T. Fleming his executors administrators and assigns one negro man named "Tom" aged about twenty two years
a slave for life.  To Have and To Hold the said negro man Tom above bargained and sold or mentioned or intended
so to be to the said Ezekiel T. Fleming his executors administrators & assigns forever.  And I the Said
Samuel G. Collins for myself my heirs executors and administrators the said negro Slave named "Tom" unto
the said Ezekiel T. Fleming his executors administrators and assigns against me the Said Samuel
G. Collins my Executors and administrators & against all & every other person or persons whatsoever shall
& will warrant and forever defend by these presents.  In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto subscribed
my name & affixed my seal this first day of November Anno Domini Eighteen Hundred & fifty four

State of Maryland Dorchester county to wit:   on this first day of November Anno Domini Eighteen
hundred & fifty four before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in & for
Dorchester County aforesaid personally appeared Samuel G. Collins the party bargainor mentioned in
the aforegoing Bill of Sale and acknowledged the same to be his act & deed & the negro Slave therein mentioned
to be the property of the said Ezekiel T. Fleming party bargainee also therein named
