and assigns against me the Said Lloyd N. Harris my executors and administrators and against all and every other
person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents; of all and Singular which
said goods, household Stuff, and other the premises I the said Lloyd Harris have put the said Thomas Cook in
full possession by delivering to him the said Thomas Cook one riding bridle at the Sealing and delivering of these presents
in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and Sold, or mentioned and intended to be so unto him the said
Thomas Cook as aforesaid
                      In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this 3d day of June A. D. 1854

Charlotte Ennalls          Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following Bill of Sale was received and recorded
    √   from   x.d        on the 13th day of June 1854 to wit
Mary Steinman                     Know all men by these presents that I Mary Steinman of Somersett County and State
                                of Maryland for and in consideration of the Sum of three hundred seven dollars & fifty Cents current
money of Maryland to me in hand paid by Charlotte Ennalls of Dorchester County and State aforesaid before the ensealing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said Mary Steinman has granted Bargained and
Sold conveyed and transferred and by these presents doth grant Bargain and Sell convey and transfer unto the Said Charlotte
Ennalls her heirs and assigns forever one negro man named moses aged fifty years or thereabouts a slave for life and now in
the possession of the Said Charlotte Ennalls To Have and To Hold the above described negro man Moses unto the Said
Charlotte Ennalls her heirs and assigns forever and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever against me the said
Mary Steinman and my heirs and against all persons whatsoever claiming or to claim the said negro man Moses shall and
will warrant and forever defend by these presents         In testimony whereof the Said Mary Steinman has hereunto
subscribed her name and affixed her Seal this seventh day of June one thousand eight hundred and fifty four

                                                          The State of Maryland Somerset County to wit:  Be it remembered and it is hereby
Certified that on the Seventh day of June in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and Fifty Four personally
appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace of the State of Maryland in & for Somerset County Mary
Steinman the party grantor in the within and aforegoing Bill of Sale and acknowledged the Same to be her act & deed
and delivered the Same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned according to the acts of Assembly in such case
made and provided                                                Acknowledged before               James M C Jones J. P.
                            state of Maryland Somerset County to wit
                                                                               On this 7.th day of June 1854 Personally appeared before me the subscriber
a justice of the Peace of the state & county aforesaid Mrs Mary C. Steinman and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of
Almighty god the within bill of Sale is a bona fide one                          Sworn before                  James M C Jones J. P.

          The State of Maryland Dorchester County to wit:  on this tenth day of June 1854 before me the subscriber one of the Justices
of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Dorchester County personally appeared Charlt Ennalls grantee named in the
within and aforegoing Bill of Sale and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration
mentioned in the within and aforegoing Bill of Sale is true and Bona fide as therein Set forth
