114 The state of Maryland Dorchester County to wit Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that on this third day of May in the year Eighteen hundred and fifty four Personally appeared William K Robinson the party Grantor in the within and aforegoing Bill of sale and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and on the Same day before me the subscriber personally appeared James Bibby party Grantee named in the aforegoing Bill of sale and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the Consideration mentioned in the within and aforegoing Bill of sale is true and Bona fide as therein set forth Acknowledged and sworn before W.m W. Pattison J. P. May 8th 1854 Received of James Bibby the sum of one Dollar in lieu of a stamp in this Bill of sale Francis J. Henry Clk State of Maryland Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following √ from xd Bond was received and recorded on the 17.th day of May 1854 to wit William Kirby (Stamp) Know all men by these presents That we William (one Dol) Kirby D.r Joseph Flint and J J T Harriss are held and (& half) firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the Just and full sum of Three Thousand dollars current money to be paid to the said State or to its certain attorney; for which payment well and truly to be made we bind ourselves each of us our and each of our heirs executors and administrators firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and dated this 10th day of May in the year of our Lord 1854 The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden William Kirby shall well and truly execute the office of coroner in all things thereto belonging and shall also well and faithfully execute and return all writs or other process to him directed and Shall also pay and deliver to the person or persons entitled to receive the same all sums of money and tobacco all goods and chattels by him levied Seized or taken agreeably to the directions of the writ or other process under which the same shall have been levied seized or taken; and also shall Keep and detain in Safe custody all and every person or persons committed to his custody or by him taken in execution or who shall be committed for want of bail without suffering them or any of them to escape or depart from his custody; and Shall also satisfy and pay all Judgments which Shall be rendered against him as coroner and Shall also well and truly execute and perform the several duties required of or imposed upon him by the laws of the State of Maryland then this obligation to be void and of none effect else to be and remain in full force and virtue in law Test Thos H.
