112 mentioned that is to say One Gray Horse Called Tom one white Cow one red Heifer One white Heifer thr^e^e Beds with Steads & furniture one doz Reed Bottom Chairs four tables four Carpets one beaureau for Stands two ploughs two Harrows three Hogs all and singular which goods and Chattels are now remaining standing and being in or on a Certain messuage or tenement situate in the village Federalsburg and now in the occupation of the said Zachariah White To Have and To Hold all and singular the said goods Chattels household stuff implements and furniture and other the premises above bargained and Sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the Said William S. Goslin and Tilghman Hubbard their Executors administrators and assigns forever and I the Said Zachariah White for myself my heirs executors and administrators all and singular the Goods Chattels Household Stuff implements and furniture and other the premises unto the said William S. Goslin and Tilghman Hubbard their Executors administrators and assigns against me the Said Zachariah White my Executors administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever Shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods Chattels household Stuff implements and furniture and other the premises I the Said Zachariah White have put the Said William S. Goslin and Tilghman Hubbard in full possession by delivering to them one Gray Horse Called Tom and one Reed bottom Chair at the sealing and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended So to be unto them the Said William S. Goslin and Tilghman Hubbard as aforesaid In witness whereof I the said Zachariah White have hereunto set my hand and seal on this Eighteenth day of April Eighteen hundred and fifty four (1854) Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of Zachariah White (seal) James Finsthwait William Sisk State of Maryland Dorchester County to wit On this 18th day of April 1854 before the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of Maryland in and for Dorchester County personally appears Zachariah White he being known to me to be the person who is named and described as and professing to be a party to the foregoing indenture instrument of writing or bill of Sale ^and doth acknowledge the said indenture instrument of writing or bill of Sale^ to be his act and deed at the Same time personally appears William S. Goslin and Tilghman Hubbard they also being known to me and did severally Swear on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the Consideration set forth in this Bill of Sale is true and Bona fide as therein set forth In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand on the day and year aforesaid James Finsthwait J. P. (Seal) Received the 5.th day of May 1854 of William S. Goslin & Tilghman Hubbard the sum of one dollar in lieu of a stamp on this Bill of Sale Francis J. Henry Clk Henry Cook Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following paid from xd Bill of Sale was received and recorded on the 6.th day of May 1854 William Corkran to wit Know all men by these presents that I William Corkran of Dorchester County and State of Maryland for and in Consideration of the Sum of Four hundred & eighty five Dollars Current money of Maryland to me in hand paid by Henry Cook of the Delivered May 6th 1854 to Henry Cook |
