AN ACT making certain changes in accordance with a reorganization of Howard
County Government that transfers responsibilities for substance abuse issues to
the Health Department; repealing the Chief Administrative Officer's appointing
authority for the position of Human Services Specialist III, serving as the
Substance Abuse Impact Coordinator; providing that the Health Department is
to provide staff support to the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Advisory Board; and
providing for the application of this Act.

AN ACT establishing an Office for Children's Services in the Department of Citizen
Services; establishing the Office's powers, duties, and responsibilities; providing

appointed by the Director of the Department of Citizen Services; providing for
the application of this Act; and generally relating to the Office for Children's
Services.

An Act amending Subtitle 4 "Moderate Income Housing Units" of Title 13 "Housing
and Community Development" of the Howard County Code clarifying that
developers of both age-restricted adult housing conditional uses located in the
Planned Service Area and dwelling units located within Planned Senior
Community zoning districts may provide moderate income housing units at
alternate development sites.
