PRINCESS ANNE

Ordinance No. 2000-02
AN ORDINANCE to apply Article IV, Section 403 of the Town of Princess Anne
Charter, entitled "Compensation," to increase the salaries of the President and the
Commissioners of the Town of Princess Anne.
WHEREAS, it appears advisable upon the favorable recommendation of the
Town Commissioners of the Town of Princess Anne, to apply Article IV, Section 403 of
the Town of Princess Anne Charter, entitled "Compensation," to increase the salaries
of the President and the Commissioners of the Town of Princess Anne.
[Section 403 of Article IV of the Charter of the Town of Princess Anne, Somerset
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2000 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments.

Resolution No. 2001-1
A RESOLUTION OF THE PRESIDENT AND COMMISSIONERS OF PRINCESS
ANNE TO AMEND § 202 - "ANNEXATIONS" OF THE CHARTER OF PRINCESS
ANNE
WHEREAS, the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne desire to amend
their Charter to add additional land subject to the Town of Princess Anne Code and
Charter; and
WHEREAS, the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne desire that the
. land owned by Paul Thorton's Craftsmen, Inc., be annexed into the boundaries of the
Town and be designated as a R-l district; and
WHEREAS, the President and Commissioners agreed in a work session meeting
on July 12, 2001, that it is in the best interest of the Town to annex the land owned by
Paul Thorton's Craftsmen, Inc. and to proceed with a Resolution, which reiterated
their desire to amend § 202. (5,36 acres of land, more or less.)

amendments.
