MARYLAND, TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CHARTER OF POCOMOKE CITY,
MARYLAND, PROPOSING THE ANNEXATION TO POCOMOKE CITY OF
CERTAIN LAND SITUATED CONTIGUOUS TO AND BINDING UPON THE EAST
CORPORATE LIMITS OF POCOMOKE CITY, EAST OF U.S. ROUTE 13, AND

Resolution
Adoption of Amendment to Preston Town Charter
Whereas, the Commissioners of Preston wish to amend the Preston Town Charter for
the purpose of updating and improving the existing charter and,
Whereas, the Charter amendment to Article III, Section 306, "Meetings of the
Commissioners", part (A) has been developed by the Commission to improve the
governance of the Town.
[Section 306A of Article III of the Charter of the Town of Preston, Caroline
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2000 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments.
