(iii) Two members appointed by the Delegates from the House of
Delegates who represent Calvert County. (2) Each member of the Task Force shall be a resident of a private
community in Calvert County, or have other knowledge or expertise relating to the
infrastructure needs of private communities in Calvert County. (c) The County Commissioners of Calvert County shall designate the
chairman of the Task Force. (d) The Task Force shall be staffed by personnel from the office of the County
Commissioners of Calvert County. (e) Each member of the Task Force shall serve without compensation but shall
be entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel
Regulations. (f) The Task Force shall: (1) Conduct a comprehensive survey of the infrastructure needs of
private communities in Calvert County; (2) Hold public hearings as necessary to solicit input from residents of
Calvert County on issues relating to the private communities' infrastructure needs; (3) Determine what State and local government resources are available,
and what additional resources are needed, to address the identified infrastructure
needs; and (4) Make recommendations on how available resources can be used to
meet the identified infrastructure needs, and on the order in which the infrastructure
needs should be addressed. (g) The Task Force shall submit a report on its preliminary findings and
recommendations to the County Commissioners of Calvert County and, in accordance
with § 2-1246 of State Government Article, to the Calvert County Delegation to the
Maryland General Assembly, on or before November 1, 2001, and shall submit a final
report on or before December 31, 2002. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2001. It shall remain effective for a period of [1 year] 2 YEARS and 7 months
and, at the end of [December 31, 2002] DECEMBER 31, 2003, with no further action
required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force
and effect. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 2002. Approved April 9, 2002.
