ROBERT L. EHRLICH, JR., Governor Ch. 5 THERE IS A 9-1-1 TRUST FUND. (B) PURPOSES. THE PURPOSES OF THE 9-1-1 TRUST FUND ARE TO: (1) REIMBURSE COUNTIES FOR THE COST OF ENHANCING A 9-1-1 (2) PAY CONTRACTORS IN ACCORDANCE WITH § 1-306(B)(11) OF THIS (3) FUND THE COORDINATOR POSITION UNDER § 1-305 OF THIS (C) COMPOSITION. THE 9-1-1 TRUST FUND CONSISTS OF: (1) MONEY FROM THE 9-1-1 FEE COLLECTED AND REMITTED TO THE (2) MONEY FROM THE ADDITIONAL CHARGE COLLECTED AND (3) INVESTMENT EARNINGS OF THE 9-1-1 TRUST FUND. (D) MONEY IN 9-1-1 TRUST FUND. MONEY IN THE 9-1-1 TRUST FUND SHALL BE HELD IN THE STATE TREASURY. (E) ADMINISTRATION. THE SECRETARY SHALL ADMINISTER THE 9-1-1 TRUST FUND, SUBJECT TO THE (F) ESTABLISHMENT OF SEPARATE ACCOUNTS. THE SECRETARY SHALL DIRECT THE COMPTROLLER TO ESTABLISH SEPARATE (G) INCOME FROM INVESTMENTS. (1) ANY INVESTMENT EARNINGS SHALL BE CREDITED TO THE 9-1-1 (2) THE COMPTROLLER SHALL ALLOCATE THE INVESTMENT INCOME REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a), (b), and (d) through (g) of this section are - 47 -
