1-307. SAME — ANNUAL REPORT.

(A)     REQUIRED.

THE BOARD SHALL SUBMIT AN ANNUAL REPORT TO THE GOVERNOR, THE
SECRETARY, AND, SUBJECT TO § 2-1246 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, THE
LEGISLATIVE POLICY COMMITTEE.

(B)     CONTENTS.

THE REPORT SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION FOR EACH
COUNTY:

COUNTY;

(1)      THE TYPE OF 9-1-1 SYSTEM CURRENTLY OPERATING IN THE

(2)      THE TOTAL 9-1-1 FEE AND ADDITIONAL CHARGE CHARGED;

(3)      THE FUNDING FORMULA IN EFFECT;

(4)      ANY STATUTORY OR REGULATORY VIOLATION BY THE COUNTY AND
THE RESPONSE OF THE BOARD;

(5)      ANY EFFORTS TO ESTABLISH AN ENHANCED 9-1-1 SYSTEM IN THE
COUNTY; AND

(6)      ANY SUGGESTED CHANGES TO THIS SUBTITLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 41, § 18-103(j).

In subsection (b)(1) and (5) of this section, the phrase "in the county" is
added for clarity.

In subsection (b)(2) of this section, the reference to the "9-1-1 fee" is
substituted for the former reference to the "State" fee for clarity. Similarly,
the reference to the "additional charge" is substituted for the former
reference to the "county fee".
