BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Section 17-205, 17-207, 17-208, Annotated Code of Maryland (1997 Volume and 1998 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Insurance [17-101. (a) A policy of life insurance that insures the lives of more than one individual (1) is delivered to a group described in Subtitle 2 of this title; and (2) complies with the other applicable provisions of this title. (b) Subsection (a) of this section does not apply to policies of life insurance (1) are related by blood, marriage, or adoption; (2) are actively engaged in the management of a business enterprise, and (3) otherwise have an insurable interest in each other's lives.
